Thanks True Blue Travel!
“Keramas Resort” was epic. For sure not your typical indo warung, definitely a few steps up the luxury ladder. The staff were super friendly and helpful, food was good and sipping on an ice cold Bintang in the pool after your surf while watching the waves was an indulgent pleasure.
Keramas cooks as well, but can get crowded. Staying right there meant we were first in and generally had at least an hour or 2 before anyone staying on the bukit arrived, and by then we would have already had enough cookers to sit back and watch the show, until they all left and we had the evening glass off again.
There are also several lesser known spots within a 15 minute scooter ride either way.
Ubud is only about half an hour away on the scooter, so was a great midday trip for some awesome food, massage or even a yoga class to stretch out those tired paddling muscles.
“Keramas Resort” definitely suits the shorter more intense Bali trip as is a bit heavier on the wallet with all the luxuries available and would be a great place to go with your lady.
We were well stoked at the end of every day.
All the best,
Tony Budden (Travelled December 2012)
