The trip was awesome. Got some good fun waves, even though it was pretty crowded and some guys were knobs in the line up. Overall good though. Got some cool pics from the guys at uluwatu including one of spraying some guy that dropped in on me.

The location of “Amanda’s” was great and the guys running it were super friendly. The only complaint there was two of the rooms air cons weren’t working properly, they turned on but did nothing. Our room on the other hand had 2 that worked well so people got a bit jealous when we mentioned we had to use our blankets to warm up…haha.

As Greg mentioned the Cashew Tree had quite a cool vibe on the live music night.

“CocoPalm” was also great. I arrived with a bit of bali belly so was man down first day. The menu there is good and food really tasty. I was glad to move away from the local food for a while. Staff were really friendly and the guys that jam guitar were awesome.

Only surfed one day at Shipwrecks and was a fun wave but the crowds pulled in halfway through the sesh and ended up being a game of dodgems so my session ended. If the swell was bigger the crowds would have been spread out a bit more between the breaks.

The snorkelling at Nusa Lembongan is great. We went to The Wall, Mangroves, Gamat Bay, Crystal Bay and some deep water spot where they feed the larger fish. Saw (and got some amateur footage) of a sea snake at Crystal Bay, was cool but a bit dodge.

I lost all my photos as i had to factory reset my phone, the rest of the group has some photos but can send through some surf and go pro pics if you want as i have some of those.

Will definitely go back to Bali but not too sure when yet.
