Office, Stock and Sales Assistant  – Muizenberg, Cape Town

5 Month Temporary Contract, with the possibility of renewing the contract with the company should the position be filled appropriately, with great potential to grow within the business thereafter.

Employer Details:

CMB Agencies is focused on looking after core brands in the surf/lifestyle market in the surf industry. This is a small agency business that was started in December 2008 and has been growing steadily ever since.

Key Performance Area’s:

Assisting with Incoming and Outgoing Stock 30%

Tele-Sales, Customer Support and Visits 30%

Assisting the Regional Manager and Director 20%

Management of Business Expenses, Office Administration & Social Media 20%

 

Candidate Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric

Relevant Degree / Diploma – Favourable

2 Years Experience in Retail and / or Customer Service – Favourable

Driver’s License & Own Reliable Transport

Fluent in English and a good knowledge of Afrikaans

Excellent Computer Literacy (Excel, Gmail, Power Point and Word is a must and Quickbooks Accounts, favourable)

Typing Skills – Good (minimum 40WPM)

Excellent References (minimum of 3)

 

Job Description:

Assisting with Incoming and Outgoing Stock 30% – Checking stock in and out and invoicing to the Customer, as well as the planning of collections and deliveries.

Tele-Sales, Customer Support and Visits 30% – Regularly calling on the Customer Base on a Tele-Sale Cycle and Visiting Clients in Close Range and well as dealing with customer returns, questions and queries.

Assisting the Regional Manager and Director 20% – Helping assist the Regional Manager and Director where need be with Tasks given.

Management of Business Expenses, Office Administration & Social Media 20% – On a weekly basis, the updating the Business Expenses and dealing with Office Administration and Organisation will be necessary, as well as keeping the Social Media and Websites up to date.

 

The candidate needs to understand the importance of prioritising, improvising and understanding the importance of the attention to detail and time management in order to get the tasks on hand completed efficiently, and the importance of maintaining a level of customer service which has already been established with existing customers and new clients going forward.

 

On Offer:

To Officially Start – 03 October 2014 (with 7 Days Un-Paid Training from the 24th September 2014)

R5 000 / Month – Paid on the 3rd of the Month (negotiable after end of 5 month Temporary Contract, depending on the Performance of the Candidate on renewing of the contract)

Additional Sales Incentive Targets (R800 – R3000)

Reimbursement for Business Kilometres done at the AA Rate

Phone and Lap Top Packages given for Business Use

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
