True Blue surf & Island travel likes : Maldives is FREE!!!
In November 2013 the Maldivians announced that they would privitise many of the waves. This looked ominous and meant that there would be far less waves to surf. It also meant resorts could UP their prices , which they did while offering PRIVATE waves. HOWEVER, this month , The Maldivian ministry has announced that there will be NO exclusivity on waves. This means more waves to surf for all an at a cheaper cost.
But beware before booking, there are some heated discussions still going on and it may take a few months to sort it self out. But its GREAT news. Those that gamble may just score… chat to us first, but its looking good.
