True Blues Greg Bertish will be going over for “business” and to compete in this years MOC :

“This 6th edition of the 26km downwind race, which takes place on Saturday 5th July from Tamassa Resort down to Lux le Morne will see downwind champion Greg Bertish, Durban speedster Brandon Read and old salty, Gary van Rooyen take on the best that Mauritius, Austria, Switzerland and New Zealand has to offer. A relatively small field will take on the first official SUP element of the surfski race, but the R10,000 prize money will be fiercely competed for. (1st – R5000, 2nd – R3000, 3rd – R2000 and Lucky Draw’s of Coreban, Quicksilver and Roxy gear)
Apart from the main endurance race, the week consists of a 10km Sporty Anderson memorial race, relays, SUP demo’s and workshops with World Surfski Champions, Oscar Chalupski and Dawid Mocke. A huge thanks goes out to hosts Albert D’Unienville from Lux Resorts, Race Director Anton Erasmus and Organizer Dominic Henry from The Boathouse.”
