One of our clients took some time during his surf trip to Sri Lanka to update us on the waves. He is currently hitting it up at Arugam bay :

Hi True Blue,

We’ve just climbed out from a cooker eve surf. Prob best waves so far on our trip. Long 4-5 waves peeling down the line….flippen awesome. We are def pouring a Jamie and firing up a Cuban cigar later cos we so stoked 🙂

Don’t know if we just hit it lucky this week, but crikey we didn’t expect to be surfing overhead waves given it is so early in the season, but absolutely loving it.

Guys kited from lunchtime but the wind dropped dramatically at 5pm and that’s when we jumped in.

Apparently some of the other breaks around here started to work today cos of the increased swell size. We may check them out at some stage but right now we are happy to just be strolling from PJ’s down to the point and surfing A bay 🙂
