Hi True Blue,

Believe it or not, my dream trip is to go to Bali.

I’ve been reading about Indonesia since I was a young child. After experiencing the divorce of my parents and the subsequent emotional backlash, I decided that I never wanted to get married but instead, wanted to travel the world with the person that would become my partner. Spending money on a white dress and some flowers when you could be swimming in the ocean, running along the beach, tasting different food, getting to know the local language and experiencing the culture of a new place just seemed counterproductive to me.

Now I have met the person who has become my partner and he has given even me a reason to believe in committing to someone for life. Fortunately, he shares my views on travelling and we have spoken at length about travelling to Bali together to pay tribute to our dreams and hopes. What better place to celebrate such happiness than in Bali?

Such a beautiful place, which I’ve dreamed about from a young age, when I was grappling with my own issues on relationships, up until now when I’ve overcome them, is a hugely symbolic to me.
