Hi True Blue Surf & Island Travel

The trip was EPIC. So many good waves and good people. I did a my Open Water Diver course at a Resort  which cost $430. I then did a deal with them where, if I did my Adventure Diver (another $250), then they would waiver the transport fee, based on the fact that I had spent quite a bit on diving. So obviously I did my Adventure Diver. The diving was awesome, and I got the barrels of my life at Seven Palms and Telescopes.

The photographer wasn’t there for my best barrels, but I have witnesses! He kept hanging at the top and then the barrels would be further down the line, uurgghh.

I tore the anterior ligament in my left shoulder on my last wave (wipeout) on a proper set at Tele’s, watched it come down the line and everyone was just leaving it, swung late and had a go, wiped out but landed funny on my left arm outstretched with all my weight on it. That was Sunday evening, so I only missed the Monday morning surf before I left, so went for a dive instead. Just come from physio she reckons going to have to spend a bit of time out the water. Strangely enough, right now I’m ok with that!

Macca’s is insane, the food is top class, and the resort is run by surfers for surfers and very well organised. Everybody super friendly. A Resort is ok, the food is average, and not really the same vibe as Macca’s.

Overall though it was awesome, I’m already plotting my next mission to Indo.

Had such a good time bru. Stoked.

Now back to reality…
